Vigil in Solidarity with Afghan Women: Portugal | No Women No Peace

 

As part of the candlelit vigils in solidarity with Afghan women, a vigil will be held in Portugal on 25th November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women.

The event will take place in Viseu, Portugal, with the following schedule:

• Starting at 16.00 in Praça do Rossio for street art and performances, followed by 
• A solidarity march and vigil at 18.00,  
• A discussion at 20.30 at IPJ Instituto Português da Juventude, and 
• Ending with a screening of the film Persepolis at 21.45 at IPJ
