During the summer of 2010 No women, no peace. ran a creative competition to generate materials for the campaign. Entrants were asked to produce artwork in any medium that reflects women’s contributions to peacebuilding. We were delighted with the response. The winning entry from Asako Yanagita was presented to the Foreign Secretary Rt Hon William Hague MP as a permanent reminder of the importance of involving women in peacebuilding.
Six of the entries are being used for our e-postcards and we will be using the remaining shortlisted entries throughout the campaign. Get in touch if you have any ideas of how you’d like to see the artwork used.
